"Hi everyone! My name is Hadley Wimsatt, and I am so excited to serve as the 2023-2024 UFEC President! I am a third year Animal Sciences major with a concentration in Animal Biology on the pre-veterinary track. I hope to become a large animal veterinarian. I started riding in hunter/jumpers while growing up in New Jersey, and I have continued to do so throughout high school and college on the Hunt Seat Team. Joining UFEC has introduced me to countless opportunities and helped me build a strong support system here at UF. I have made amazing friends, and UFEC has helped me grow my leadership experience through serving as a club officer. Being a member of this club has been my favorite part of UF, and I hope to share that experience with our current and incoming members! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions."

"Hi! My name is Madelein Rossborough. I am a 4th year student majoring in Animal Science with an animal biology concentration. I am currently on the pre-vet track and I look forward to what my future holds. This will be my second year being part of the equestrian club as I transferred in last year from Aberystwyth University. During my time in the club, I've enjoyed competing on the hunt seat team and making life long friends. Coming in as a transfer student was difficult, but the Hunt Seat team made me feel welcomed and supported! I look forward to welcoming new and current members and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!"

I have participated in many disciplines, such as Dressage, Jumping, Barrel Racing, and now Western Pleasure. Along with riding, I also do some designing and created the Western team's logo. I will be in charge of Public Relations for UFEC this year, and I'm excited to get even more involved."

"Hi everyone! My name is Karina Vestergaard and I'm the Western Captain. I'm a senior majoring in Animal Sciences and minoring in French and Francophone Studies. My mom introduced me to the equestrian world when I was living in Peru. I started showjumping once I came to UF, and I decided to try something new, so I joined the Western Team. The past three years on this team have been amazing. Our team is a family and I love creating memories with all of our teammates. My favorite memory has been traveling to Kentucky for the IHSA National Championship to support our riders."

Ashley Johnson is head trainer and owner at Ashland Eventing based in Ocala, FL. Ashley Johnson is a 5 star Event Rider and an ICP Level III Certified Instructor. She has coached at the University of Florida's Eventing Team from its start. Ashley is pursuing a master's degree in psychology through Harvard University HES school with a focus on sports psychology.
